Support Terminal
Getting unstuck, filing a ticket that does not get lost, and finding out what happened to it.
Support Terminal
Most servers handle support on Discord, which means alt-tabbing out of the game, finding the right channel, and hoping somebody scrolls back far enough to see your message.
The Support Terminal keeps all of it inside the game. It stands in the Prontera Inn at .
I'm Stuck#
The first option, and the one you will use.
Ragnarok has geometry that occasionally traps a character. A warp lands you inside scenery, a knockback puts you behind a wall, a map has a tile you can walk into but not out of. It is rare and it is infuriating.
Pick I'm Stuck and the terminal warps you out. No ticket, no waiting, no GM involved.
If you cannot reach the terminal because you are stuck somewhere else, @home returns you to your save point from anywhere. Between the two, staying trapped is close to impossible.
Create a Support Ticket#
For anything that needs a person.
Write your report and the terminal files it. What matters is that it stays filed. A ticket sits in the system until a GM closes it, so nothing gets buried under an hour of chat.
Good tickets contain what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. Character name and map are recorded automatically, so you do not need to include them.
FAQ & Rules#
The server rules and the questions that come up most, readable without leaving the terminal. Worth a look before filing a ticket, because a good share of tickets turn out to be answered here.
The longer version lives on the FAQ page.
My Tickets#
Everything you have filed, with its current state.
A ticket moves through open, then in progress once a GM has picked it up, then closed. You can see which stage yours is at without asking anybody, which removes the most common reason people file a second ticket about the same thing.
What happens on the staff side#
A GM reviewing your ticket can mark it in progress, warp to wherever you were when you filed it, and close it when it is dealt with.
The ability to warp to the reporter is the useful part. For anything involving a specific spot on a specific map, a GM standing where you were standing solves in seconds what a written description takes twenty minutes to fail at.
When to use what#
Stuck in the world: use I'm Stuck, or @home.
A GM needs to see something right now: use @request, which messages every GM currently online.
Something is broken and it can wait: file a ticket. It survives everyone logging out.
A question about how something works: try the FAQ or this wiki first, then ask on Discord where other players can answer too.
Suggestions are welcome through the ticket system as well. The Midgard Herald in Prontera runs polls on the ideas worth putting to everybody.
