Removing Cards
The Wise Old Woman takes cards back out of equipment you are wearing. She stands in the Prontera inn at .
Success rate: 100%. There is no roll and no risk. You keep the item and you keep every card that was in it.
What it costs#

A weapon with two cards therefore costs 250,000 zeny plus the two materials.
How it works#
Wear the piece, talk to her, pick it from the list. She names the price, you confirm, and you get the item and the cards back as separate pieces. Every attempt succeeds, so the fee is the only thing you part with.
Refines survive. A +7 weapon comes back as a +7 weapon.
This is not the iRO system#
Other servers and the iRO wiki describe a version that can fail and destroy your gear. Ours used to work that way too, with a 90 percent success rate, a 6 percent chance of losing either the item or the cards, and a 2 percent chance of losing both.
We took that out on 15 August 2026. Numbers you read elsewhere do not apply here.
