Guild Services

A guild on SecondWind RO is more than a chat channel and a name over your head. Here is what comes with one.

Guild Bank#

Where: Prontera,

A shared zeny account tied to your guild. Any member can pay in, and any member can take out. There is no rank check and no approval step.

That is deliberate. A guild bank with permissions turns into an administration problem, and guilds that need protection from their own members have a bigger issue than the NPC can solve. Treat it as a shared pot that runs on trust.

The balance belongs to the guild, not to any character. It survives members leaving and officers changing. If the guild is disbanded the money goes with it, so empty the account first.

Guild Storage#

Where: any Kafra Employee, for example Prontera at

Talk to a Kafra and pick Use Guild Storage from the menu. The option only appears when you are in a guild.

Guild storage holds items rather than zeny and works the same way personal storage does. Everyone in the guild sees the same contents.

There is a technical footnote worth mentioning, because guilds on other servers run into it. In official Ragnarok, guild storage is gated behind a guild skill that only exists in Renewal. On a Pre-Renewal server that skill is not in the tree, which means no guild could ever unlock it and the feature would sit there permanently switched off. We removed the gate, so every guild has storage from the moment it is founded.

Emblems#

Upload an emblem through the game client the usual way. It shows up over guild members, on castle flags and in the Hall of Fame.

The emblem also appears on the website next to your guild in the rankings.

Castles and War of Emperium#

Guilds fight over castles during the War of Emperium. Owning one gives your guild access to its treasure room and its dungeon.

The WoE Sign in Prontera at shows who currently holds what, when the next session runs, and which rules apply that week.

Alliances and the ally channel#

Guild alliances give you the #ally chat channel. It is not joined automatically. Type @join #ally once and it stays.

Rivalries work too, and they do what you would expect during WoE.

Starting a guild#

You need an Emperium and a character that is not already in a guild. Emperiums come from the market or from other players, and the price moves with demand.

Once the guild exists, everything above is available immediately. There is no level requirement, no member minimum and no fee.
