Hunting Missions
Six daily hunts for your level range, each worth a share of the experience to your next level. Tables with the exact EXP at every level from 15 to 98.
Hunting Missions
The Questboard in Prontera posts six monster hunts for your level range. Take one, kill what it asks for, come back for the reward. Every hunt pays a share of the experience to your next level, 16 percent up to level 69 and less after that.
Each hunt can be handed in once a day and the whole board resets at midnight server time.
The board stands at . The shop that takes the points, Hobota, is two steps away at .
Experience, the main reward#
A hunt pays a share of the experience you need for your current level, in base and in job. The share is 16 percent up to level 69 and steps down after that, so the last stretch to 99 stays a climb.
| Your level | Share per hunt |
|---|---|
| up to 69 | 16 percent |
| 70 to 79 | 13 percent |
| 80 to 89 | 10 percent |
| 90 to 93 | 8 percent |
| 94 to 96 | 6 percent |
| 97 to 99 | 5 percent |
The monsters you kill along the way pay their own experience on top. Because the share is fixed while the monster experience follows however long you play, a board hunt is worth more per hour than farming the same spot yourself. At 80 it pays about 40 percent more for the same time, at 89 about 90 percent more, and at 98 nearly five times as much.
Find your level and read across.

| 98 | 5% | 99,999,998 | 4,999,999 | 29,999,994 |
Job experience follows the same share, taken from what your current job level needs. At base level 99 the job share keeps paying while the base share has nowhere left to go.
Zeny, points and time#
| Level range | Time per hunt | All six | Zeny | Mission Points | Poring Coins |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 15 to 29 | 6 minutes | 35 minutes | 15,000 | 10 | 3 |
| 30 to 44 | 7 minutes | 45 minutes | 40,000 | 15 | 4 |
| 45 to 59 | 8 minutes | 50 minutes | 80,000 | 20 | 5 |
| 60 to 74 | 9 minutes | 55 minutes | 150,000 | 25 | 6 |
| 75 to 89 | 10 minutes | 1 hour | 250,000 | 30 | 8 |
| 90 to 99 | 11 minutes | 1 hour 5 | 400,000 | 35 | 10 |
Zeny, points and coins are per hunt. The times are what a character of that range needs solo, and lower ranges are shorter on purpose.
The board only shows the six hunts for your own level. When you grow into the next range you get a fresh set.
The hunts#
Every count is checked against how many of that monster spawn and how fast they come back, so no hunt asks for more than the map can give you. Every map can be reached without finishing a quest chain first.

The rules#
Everything resets at midnight server time. Each hunt can be handed in once per day, and they all come back together. The board tells you how long is left.
You can only carry one hunt at a time. Finish it or drop it at the board before taking another. Dropping one clears its kill count.
Kills only count while you carry the hunt. Killing the monsters first and taking the hunt afterwards does nothing.
A hunt you already took stays valid. If you level out of the range while hunting, you can still hand it in.
Party kills count. Anyone in your party within 25 cells of the kill gets credit, as long as they carry the same hunt. That means party members need to be in the same level range as you, otherwise the board offers them a different set and no shared hunt exists.
Rewards are EXP, zeny and points. The board drops no items, so it does not undercut farming and crafting.
Picking a hunt for your class#
The six hunts in a range are the same length, so pick by what your character kills well. Armour and magic defence differ a lot between them.
| If you fight with | Good picks |
|---|---|
| Melee and bows | Staircase Dungeon, Clock Tower Basement, St. Abbey Watch, Prison Break, Culvert Depths, Underground Cave |
| Magic | Comodo Coast, Ice Dungeon, Ice Titan Hunt, Chivalry Hall, Orc Village |
Everything not listed works about the same either way. No hunt on the board uses ghost property monsters, so a plain weapon always does damage.
Looking for a party#
After you accept a hunt, the board asks whether you want a group for it. Say yes and you land on the Party Finder with your listing already filled in.
Two things come across automatically. The name of the hunt, so nobody has to guess what "Hunting Board" means, and the level bracket of that hunt, so the range covers exactly the people who can take it.
Accepting a different hunt later rewrites your listing instead of adding a second one. You can also reach the board with @lfg from anywhere, or in person next to the fountain at .
What the points buy#
Mission Points go to Hobota, who sells the same range as
Lydia's Poring Coin shop at one and a half times the price. Points cost more than coins because the board hands out a fixed amount per day while coins keep dropping the whole time you play.
| Item | Mission Points | Days of a full board at level 90 plus |
|---|---|---|
Reset Pass |
525 | 2.5 |
Costume Ticket |
600 | 3 |
Mysterious Dyestuff |
750 | 3.5 |
Field Manual 100% |
900 | 4.5 |
Bubble Gum |
1,500 | 7 |
At the top range that is 210 points a day and no way to speed it up.
