Class Specialists

Four NPCs that exist for one class each. They undo choices the game makes permanent, or take over work a skill makes tedious. What each one asks for and what it gives back.

Class Specialists

Four NPCs serve one class each. They exist because Ragnarok makes a few choices permanent that a player cannot see the weight of when making them, and because two skills ask you to repeat the same cast hundreds of times.

None of them hands out power. Every one of them either undoes something or saves you clicks. The class changes themselves are on Class Changes.

NPC For Cost Walk there
Plagiarism Master Rogue, Stalker 50,000z
Guild Chemist Assassin Cross Materials only
Novice Guardian Super Novice Free
Stargazer Star Gladiator 200,000z or 100,000z

Plagiarism Master#

Plagiarism copies the last skill a player used on you. That is the whole mechanic, and on a server this size it is a mechanic that does not run. You need the right class online, willing to cast the right skill at you, at the right level. Waiting for one specific skill can take weeks.

The Plagiarism Master writes a skill straight into your Plagiarism slot for 50,000 zeny.

How it works

  • He tells you what you currently have copied and at which level before you change anything.
  • You browse by class rather than through one long list. Swordman, Mage, Wizard and so on, each with the skills a Stalker can actually hold.
  • You pick the level as well, up to the maximum that skill allows.
  • The new skill replaces the old one, exactly as being hit by it would have.

Requirements

  • Rogue or Stalker.
  • Plagiarism learned. Without it there is no slot to write into.

The fee was 15,000z until 28 July 2026 and is deliberately kept low while the population is small. It is a convenience charge, not a sink.

Guild Chemist#

Create Deadly Poison makes one bottle per cast and costs 10 SP each time. An Assassin Cross who wants a hundred bottles casts it a hundred times and spends a thousand SP sitting still. The Guild Chemist does the same work in one conversation.

How it works

  • Tell her how many attempts to run, up to 300 at once.
  • She uses the same success formula as the skill, so the odds are not better, only faster.
  • Materials are consumed on every attempt, failures included. That is how the skill behaves too.
  • She charges no SP and no zeny. The materials are the whole price.

Materials, one of each per attempt

  • Venom Canine
  • Cactus Needle
  • Bee Sting
  • Poison Spore
  • Karvodailnirol
  • Berserk Potion
  • Empty Bottle

Requirements

  • Create Deadly Poison learned. She checks before anything else.
  • Enough free weight. A Poison Bottle weighs 10, so 300 of them come to 3000. She checks this before consuming a single material and tells you the number if you are short.

She stands in the thieves' den in Morocc rather than Prontera, which is deliberate. Everything else on this list is a town service, this one is a workshop.

Novice Guardian#

A Super Novice who reaches job level 70 without ever dying gets +10 to every stat. One death removes it, and Ragnarok gives you no way to earn it back. That is a permanent penalty for a mistake made while learning the game, on the class most likely to be played by somebody learning the game.

The Novice Guardian clears the death record free of charge.

How it works

  • She tells you how many deaths are on your record before you decide anything.
  • The reset takes effect the same second. No relog, no waiting.
  • If you are already at job level 70 or higher, the stat bonus is back immediately and you can watch it appear in your stat window.
  • Below job level 70 she tells you how many job levels are left before the reward applies.

Requirements

  • Super Novice or Super Baby. She turns anybody else away.

She stands beside the Platinum Skill NPC on purpose, because a Super Novice goes there anyway for Break Through and Help Angel.

Stargazer#

Feeling of the Sun, Moon and Stars memorises a map. Hatred of the Sun, Moon and Stars memorises a monster. Both are meant to last the life of the character, and both are chosen long before a new Star Gladiator can judge which map or which monster is worth locking in.

The Stargazer washes either set out.

Service What it clears Cost
Reset Feeling All three places at once, sun, moon and stars 200,000z
Reset Hatred All three targets at once, sun, moon and stars 100,000z

How it works

  • Each reset clears all three slots together. There is no way to reset only the moon and keep the sun.
  • It takes effect immediately, no relog needed.
  • She asks for confirmation before taking the zeny, and tells you what the reset covers.
  • Afterwards, casting Feeling asks you to confirm the new map again instead of just reporting the old one.

Requirements

  • Star Gladiator.

One thing that is not a bug. Casting Feeling on a slot that is already set does not overwrite it. The skill only reports what is stored there. That is the intended behavior, and it is exactly why the Stargazer exists.

She stands in the Prontera inn, a few steps from Jackie and Vincenzo, who sell the Ninja and Gunslinger materials.
